The Dubai World Championship
Dubai will play host to the richest golf tournament in the world, beginning in 2009, with a prize fund of $10 million US Dollars. The Dubai World Championship will be the closing event for the PGA European Tour, with the inaugural event taking place at the Jumeirah Golf Estates, played on either of the Greg Normnan designed Fire or Water courses.

Dubai Desert Classic
World Number One Tiger Woods has confirmed that he will be playing in the Dubai Desert Classic this January. It will be Tiger's fifth appearance in the tournament that he won in 2006, which is helping to showcase the spectacular golf on offer from Emirate's region to the world.
